Late Night in a Loft

When Anne-Marie and Brandon found out they were having a baby, they decided to get married, but bypassed the technicalities (buying a diamond ring; getting down on one knee). So it was a total surprise when during their rehearsal dinner at the Modern, Brandon proposed the old-fashioned way, in front of a cheering crowd. (To which she answered, “Hell, yeah!”) At the reception, there was another announcement. The pregnant bride revealed they were having a girl. “Everybody was crying. The house came down.” Another special moment was on the dance floor. Before they met, Anne-Marie had noticed Brandon’s Friendster profile, which quoted Frank Sinatra’s “The Way You Look Tonight.” “I love that song. So I e-mailed him, asking if he’d heard Carla Cook’s version.” In a month, they were dating. Three years later, Carla Cook herself sang the ballad for their first dance.
