For this week’s “Don’t DillyDally,” we’ve surfaced a range of new things we’re sure will sell out, including Cuup’s first-ever robe, a luxurious diaper-carrier collaboration between Coterie and Caraa, and a turkey baster that’s guaranteed to induce holiday cheer.
Parade Teddy Collection
Parade’s cozy new fleece collection sadly stops just short of Sherpa underwear, but it does include a fuzzy coat, pants, and miniskirt, all made from recycled thermal teddy fabric.
The James Brand x Blackwing
James, maker of minimalist knives and multi-tools, has partnered with Blackwing, the legendarily smooth pencil favored by John Steinbeck and New York writers alike. A neat gift for the novelist, cartoonist, or stationery nerd in your life, this limited-edition set includes 12 pencils in a cedarwood case.
Material Glassware + Linens
Holiday hosting season is here, and so is Material’s new colored glassware, available in stemmed and stemless sets of six. The brand’s latest tablescaping collection also includes linen place mats, napkins, and a tablecloth in complementary stonewashed hues. (It may be worth picking out your favorite pieces now and dillydallying just until tomorrow, when Material will host a rare, 20-percent-off sitewide sale.)
Staff Turkey Basters
Speaking of seasonal tablescaping, this might be the world’s first aesthetically pleasing turkey baster. Naturally, it’s designed by the folks at Staff, who are also responsible for one of the most delightful toilet plungers we’ve ever seen.
Cuup Holiday Collection
We’re already big fans of Cuup’s bras and underwear and think it’s about time that the brand debuted its first-ever robe. Befitting party season, this one is made from silky and sparkly Lurex. There’s a matching (very Y2K) tank top, too.
Glossier Holiday Kit
Speaking of parties, Glossier’s latest launch is a tin of two portable products designed to be taken out on the town. It contains the brand’s first rollerball version of its beloved eau de parfum, You, plus a limited-edition cherry-red lip color that’ll match the holiday décor.
Violet Grey Holiday Box
Any skin-care obsessive will tell you that this curated box of Violet Grey staff favorites — featuring full-size products from the likes of RMS Beauty, Augustinus Bader, Costa Brazil, and Dr. Barbara Sturm — is the gift to get. It’s also a smart purchase if a few of these products are already on your nightstand, half-empty and waiting to be replenished; a bottle of the Augustinus Bader serum retails for $150 by itself, while Dr. Barbara Sturm’s niacinamide serum usually costs $145.
Ssense Holiday Bag
Or here’s Ssense’s fittingly fashion-forward take on the holiday beauty box, which technically comes in a bag — a market-inspired one designed by Collina Strada. It contains a selection of both full-size products and minis, including Crème De La Mer moisturizer and Byredo fragrances.
Stranger Things x Lush
Enjoy bath time in the Upside Down, courtesy of Lush and Stranger Things. This bath-bomb duo includes a Dungeons & Dragons–inspired die that’ll fizzle with a gentle peppermint scent as well as a more hard-core, spice-imbued bath bomb that explodes into a “fury of red and orange fire.”
Pendleton x Reigning Champ
There’s nothing as cozy as a Pendleton blanket, and this athletic, uniform-inspired collaboration with Canada’s Reigning Champ is a nice departure from its usual heritage patterns.
Verloop Winter Accessories
Verloop’s new collection of knits (all made from upcycled yarn) includes colorful scarves, gloves, and hats for adults. But we’re obviously most obsessed with the brand’s new drop of dog sweaters, available in on-trend checkerboard as well as a wavy, psychedelic pattern. The sweaters are washable, designed with a harness keyhole, and will suit dogs up to 60 pounds.
Travis Weller x Roark
This painterly new collection of trail-running gear from Roark was designed in collaboration with artist Travis Weller, who chose a color palette inspired by Mt. Tamalpais in Marin County. We particularly like the artistic camouflage of this light zip-up jacket, for those who’d rather blend in with nature than stand out from it.
Roxy x Chloe Kim Signature Collection
Roxy continues its collaboration with snowboarding icon and Olympic gold medalist Chloe Kim this winter, featuring pastel-hued snow pants, an insulated bib, and some seriously powder-ready jackets that will be envied on any mountain.
Mugs52 by Food52
It’s a good week for ceramics collectors: Food52 has launched its annual series of unique, one-of-a-kind mugs, handcrafted by 52 different boutique pottery studios and always very quick to sell out. Our pick (still in stock for now) is this bright-orange mug from artist Sara Lioanag that’s made from tinted clay.
Coterie x Caraa
Coterie, a favorite baby-diaper brand of our senior writer Lauren Ro, has joined forces with New York City–based bag-maker Caraa for this limited-edition luxury diaper carrier that will make parents’ lives easier and infinitely more stylish. Made from practical, water-repellent nylon, the bag features a removable caddy and stroller hooks. It even fits a laptop inside if you’re looking to multitask or repurpose the bag post–potty training.
Jono Pandolfi x Christina Tosi
A cookie tray designed in collaboration with perhaps the world’s foremost authority on all things cookie, Milk Bar’s Christina Tosi, is a no-brainer gift for any sweet-toothed person in your life.
Iris Apfel x Ruggable
She might be best known for her fashion sense, but Iris Apfel was an interior-design and textile expert for decades before her glasses went viral. Her new collection with Ruggable includes washable doormats and rugs and is imbued with her signature old-world flair.
Warm & Wonderful x Sperry
Rowing Blazers relaunched British brand Warm & Wonderful’s iconic 1980s sheep pattern, first made famous by Princess Diana, in 2020. Now that you own a replica of the original Diana sweater, you can buy these matching (and suitably preppy) Sperrys. The launch comes just in time for a new season of The Crown.
The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
