For this week’s “Don’t DillyDally,” we’ve surfaced a range of new things we’re sure will sell out, including a new Our Place kitchen appliance that’s perfect for winter soups, Diptyque’s 2023 Advent calendar, and square-toe Reformation ballet flats.
Sofia Coppola x Catbird Jewelry
Never forget that Sofia Coppola basically invented single-serve wine when her father’s vineyard named the first-ever canned sparkling wine after her 25 years ago. To celebrate the anniversary, Coppola has collaborated with Brooklyn’s Catbird on two new 14-karat recycled-gold charms referencing the pull tab that started it all. (She also recently spoke with us about her favorite coffee mug, camera film, and dress shirt, among other things.)
KULE x Bergdorf Goodman
Kule has released its second collaboration with Bergdorf Goodman after the first drop sold out in a matter of hours, and the on-trend lavender color story leads us to believe that these pieces won’t last long, either. We especially like this big canvas tote that could be used as a gym bag or help you return to the office in a pleasingly preppy way.
Ruggable x Jonathan Adler
Experts have told us time and again that Ruggable makes the very best washable rugs, and Jonathan Adler’s designs for the brand are particularly in demand. His newly launched third collection has an Art Deco influence that’ll add a touch of glamour to even the most drab landlord-special apartment — and because ’tis almost the season, there’s also a holiday-themed doormat.
Lacoste x le Fleur*
When we spoke with stylish tennis players ahead of the U.S. Open this year, they told us that heritage brand Lacoste has remained popular by working with interesting young designers. Its latest collaboration with Tyler, the Creator’s le Fleur* label launches today and proves that point by way of very wearable midi skirts, chunky knits, and polo tees.
Our Place Dream Cooker
After winning the manual-cookware game — its nonstick Always Pan is ubiquitous for a reason — millennial kitchen brand Our Place expanded into appliances recently. An extremely aesthetic air fryer launched last month, and now here’s a similarly countertop-friendly pressure cooker that’s practically a showpiece. With a nine-cup capacity, it arrives just in time for soup-and-stew season.
Reformation x New York City Ballet
A Reformation capsule collection marks the 75th anniversary of the New York City Ballet with several appropriately swishy skirts alongside leg warmers and soft cashmere wrap tops. These square-toe ballet flats are an on-point interpretation of the en pointe trend and a lot cheaper than the Sandy Liang versions.
Leica Sofort 2
If you ever find yourself getting frustrated with the classic Instax experience of wasting expensive film on oversaturated photos, Leica’s new “hybrid” instant camera offers a solution. Launching today, it can print photos directly from smartphones via Bluetooth or snap and print high-quality images on its own, offering the ability to save images and choose the best ones before spitting them out. Available in three colorways, it’s sleek-looking and pocketable — not to mention the fact that a Leica logo is always a flex.
Diptyque Paris Advent Calendar
It might be a bit early to purchase an Advent calendar, but we’d be remiss not to draw your attention to Diptyque’s 2023 offering, which launched yesterday. The box of delights contains 25 mini-versions of the brand’s beloved products, including its famous candles, soaps, and hand lotions, and will give its owner the best-smelling December of their life. And yes — even with the extreme price tag, these calendars always sell out.
