The Best Amazon Prime Early Access Sale Fashion Deals

Illustration: María Jesús Contreras

As a pre–Black Friday “gift,” Amazon is hosting a second two-day sales event this year — think of it as Prime Day 2022 part deux. Officially called the Prime Early Access Sale, the discount extravaganza ends today, Wednesday, October 12. (The sale is for Prime members only — so if you don’t currently have Prime, you’ll have to sign up to partake.)

Since the sale includes hundreds of items, we’ve done the work of scouring through them to feature only the very best discounts — and found a number of fashion deals worth adding to your cart. There are lots of familiar names, from bralette-maker True & Co. to underwear king Calvin Klein to always popular brands like Levi’s and Champion. If you follow our deals coverage, you may notice that some of the discounts below are similar to or even lower than the ones we saw during the first Prime Day sale in July; whenever possible, we price-checked each discount against past ones to find out they compare. Read on (or use the category links to skip ahead) for the best Prime Early Access Sale fashion deals.

One last note: With the second day of Prime Day 2.0 winding down, we are done updating posts for the night. While these deals are still live as of publication, all will end officially at 3 a.m. ET. To put that in Strat-speak, if you see something you like, don’t dillydally.

Women’s clothing

Around these parts, Levi’s Ribcage jeans are known as the “Goldilocks of jeans.” They boast the brand’s highest high-rise, which Strategist editor Maxine Builder describes as “deliriously high, easily clearing my bellybutton.”

Or if you like to wear your jeans super-skinny, the 720’s from Levi’s are among the best high-waisted pairs out there. Writer Diana McCorry says the jeans have “enough stretch to avoid that nasty tummy compression but enough shape to create a great silhouette when you stand up.”

Orolay Thickened Down Jacket
From $126
From $126

This Orolay jacket, dubbed the “Amazon coat,” once was a fixture of the Upper East Side landscape. New styles have been added since it first became a trend — see below — and the price has jumped too (it went from under $100 to $150-plus two years after we wrote about it). But you can now get the original for the same throwback price it sold for on Prime Day, as it’s down to just under $100.

If you prefer outwear that’s a bit more bold, the Amazon coat is now available with a faux-fur hood, Sherpa accents, or, in this case, a metallic finish. This shiny Army green is especially handsome, and it’s also on major sale.

Or you could go a little more avant-garde with this Avec Les Filles asymmetrical number that features a dramatic puffed collar.

This plush-looking teddy coat from Amazon’s sporty basics line, Daily Ritual, is meant to have a generous fit — so consider sizing down.

From $100

On a more lightweight note, this trench coat is perfect for when a puffer or teddy coat seems like too much. And yes, those pockets are actually functional and not for show.

$54

If you’ve been meaning to get a new jean jacket, you’re in luck: Levi’s OG Trucker is now almost half off.

The Drop Blake Long Blazer
$68
$68

Throw on this blazer in a wonderful shocking-pink hue for a low-effort, put-together look.

Though if you’re more the type to wear a moto jacket, this faux-leather blazer might speak more to your sensibilities.

The back-baring V-cutout on this mock-neck sweater is an unexpected twist once you see how covered up the front is.

This checkered pastel sweater vest is begging to be layered — perhaps over a turtleneck to keep you extra cozy this fall.

AYR’s The Deep End is our platonic ideal of a button-down. This version comes in mac-and-cheese-colored stripes for those who want something other than a crisp white.

The Drop Maya Silky Slip Skirt
From $41
From $41

This silky slip skirt looks more expensive than it actually is. It would work just as well with a cashmere sweater as it does with a cotton tank.

This tasteful satiny midi is similarly versatile. Wear it to your office’s annual holiday party or a friend’s wedding reception.

This Calvin Klein bralette is now cheaper than it was during Prime Day. It’s a lookalike of one that Strategist senior writer Liza Corsillo owns and praises for its support despite not having any underwire.

Longtime remote worker Brodie Lancaster introduced us to True & Co.’s Body Lift, which she included in her guide to her top-five favorite work-from-home bras. The brand’s bras “straddle that middle ground between classic T-shirt bra — with subtly molded cups — and sports bra, but without any of the heft,” Lancaster says.

Or if you’d prefer something a little more daring, this lacier option is marked down by nearly 50 percent.

True & Co. Soft Lace Bralette
From $31
From $31

This very pretty bralette features rose-gold hardware and lace that appears Deco-inspired.

No visible panty line (VPL) to worry about here. These Calvins, with a laser-cut, seamless finish, are designed to feel like you aren’t even wearing them.

These cropped leggings — from Champion’s activewear line C9 — will be comfy and easy to move in whether you’re going to yoga or running errands. They haven’t been priced this low since March.

$26

These contrast-color-blocking sweatpants are eye-catching on their own …

… But with the matching hoodie, you get a standout sweat suit.

Consider this Beyond Yoga dress a cheaper dupe of our favorite Outdoor Voices exercise ensemble. It comes with a built-in bra and shorts with a pocket and is made from a moisture-wicking fabric for low-impact workouts.

Self-described black-tights obsessive (and costume designer) Alison Freer counts a version of these tights from hosiery-maker Hue among her tried-and-trues. This already cheaper-than-Wolford pair features a waistband that won’t roll down and deep opaque color if you can’t stand the thought of sheer pantyhose.

London-based label Karen Mabon makes splurge-worthy sleepwear and is known for playful prints. This charming set features dogs dressed as desserts.

Women’s shoes and accessories

This take on a classic cowboy boot features a sculptural block heel that should still be easy enough to walk in.

Adidas’s famed (and extra-cushy) Ultraboosts get the Stella McCartney treatment with an eye-catching clash of animal prints. They’re discounted in half-sizes only.

Or go for a more ’70s look, with these low-profile Grand Courts.

These Scandi-style lace-ups (Tretorn was founded in Helsingborg way back in 1891) have a touch of Barbie pink to make them not your average white sneaker.

Travel blogger Annette Richmond is a fan of Adidas’s Cloudfoam shoes because they’re “super-lightweight and breathable.”

Think of these Steve Maddens as an extreme version of the penny loafer. The shoes boast a two-inch platform and a whopping five-inch heel.

These sky-high Rachel Comey clogs are a touch more dramatic than Swedish Hasbeens. The heels come in at four inches with a wooden platform to boot.

For a more maximalist look, these Burberry cat’s-eye sunglasses are decorated with a can’t-miss gold logo trim.

Jennifer Behr jewelry rarely goes on sale — so 25 percent off is a very respectable discount. These flowery studs are just the right amount of statement-making.

If your taste leans more classic, however, you can’t go wrong with these pearl studs from accessory maker Lele Sadoughi.

This duo of scrunchies mimic the plissé pleats you’ll see in Loeffler Randall’s heels, which are now a wedding-day staple.

One mom we spoke to suggested gifting a bejeweled headband to a new mom, as most “don’t have time to style their hair and tend to wear the same comfy items on repeat.” This one would easily elevate the simplest of outfits.

Men’s clothing

This is the corduroy version of Levi’s popular trucker jacket, in an autumnal rust shade. It’s lined with sherpa for extra warmth.

This bomber jacket is as stylish as it is practical; it comes with a water-resistant shell and packable hood.

This functional “jacket” has a removable sweatshirt bib and collar, giving you multiple ways to wear it.

If your hoodies are looking worse for wear, this Champion one is classic and comes in more than a dozen colors (just note the sale price varies by shade).

Hanes EcoSmart Jogger Sweatpants
From $17
From $17

And these fleece sweatpants from Hanes are now less than $15 a pair.

Levi’s 501 Original Fit Jeans
From $48
From $48

Strategist menswear columnist Chris Black considers Levi’s 501s his go-to pair. “Levi’s basically invented jeans,” he says.

This dress shirt will work with a tie or without, at a party, at the office, or opened up slightly for post-work drinks.

Or maybe this trippy shirt is more your speed. The floral explosions on a striped background could read as celestial from far away.

$26

This ultra-layerable V-neck sweater is one of those pieces you don’t even have to think about — you can look instantly polished for under $20.

This versatile quarter-zip can double as lightweight jacket or stand all on its own.

If your basics drawer is in need of a refresh, this pack of undershirts is more than half off — and would be the perfect accompaniment to a crisp button-down.

In the men’s underwear space, Calvin Klein is the OG. These trunks are just a smidge shorter than the brand’s best-in-class boxer briefs but have the exact same logoed waistband.

From $36

We’re heading into prime loungewear season; look fashionable while you relax in this Nautica robe with a shawl collar you can pull up and front pockets that can easily fit your AirPods and phone.

Men’s shoes and accessories

For more casual strolls, you could rely on these sporty New Balances that are based on kicks from the ’80s.

Described as a high-performance casual sneaker with good traction, these Reebok Harmans fall somewhere in the middle of the Under Armour and New Balance options above.

This cap — complete with the text-free version of Tommy Hilfiger’s simple logo — is an elegant option that won’t invite any confrontations from rival sports fans.

If you haven’t heard, the balaclava is back — and it’s just the right accessory for the cold days ahead.

Or — if a balaclava is too extreme for your tastes — consider this beanie that’s embroidered with Ralph Lauren’s distinguished Polo Bear.

Hypebeasts may be into this fox-emblazoned Maison Kitsuné beanie (which is highly giftable, if you ask us).

Casio MQ24-7B2 Analog Watch
$15
$15

Tell time the old-fashioned way with this vintage-y Casio watch.

Wayfarers have been worn by the likes of Andy Warhol and Jude Law. The never-go-out-of-style sunglasses will arrive with glasses-cleaner spray to keep them in tip-top shape.

Kids’ clothing, shoes, and accessories

These colorful sneakers will be the talk of their class. Plus the kicks are machine washable and made from recycled plastic bottles.

These Keds feature a memory-foam footbed, so they won’t come home with achy feet after a long day at the playground.

Keds Core Ella Sneaker
From $26

These are some snazzy Mary Janes, with a silvery finish and flower-powered strap, but because they’re from Keds, they also have legitimate sneaker cred.

The eyelet detail makes these sneakers not so sporty-looking (but still great for running and jumping).

Parents rave about pajamas from statusy Hanna Andersson. Now, you can snag a pair from the brand’s Amazon-exclusive line for less than $20. This snuggly, printed one-piece is designed with smooth seams that won’t bother a baby.

This delightful dress is a cousin of the jammies above, with the same print featuring bees, leaves, and ladybugs.

For something dressier, this Gymboree gingham number is embroidered with tiny apples.

It’s hard to resist the adorable animal ears on one of the cardigans in this two-pack. The sweaters will not only keep them cozy but price out to under $10 each.

Put them in this peppy, preppy cardigan for the next (photo-filled) family gathering.

A miniature oxford shirt strikes a nice balance between comfort and fanciness for dressier occasions.

For the toddler who loves a mud puddle, these ultra-cozy pants are now just $13 for four pairs.

This packable puffer can shove right into whatever free space is left in their backpack. The “adventure ready,” water-resistant also has a lined hood.

This zip-up is a little more fun than traditional. It comes in polka-dot, camo, and unicorn prints — but only the dinosaur pattern is currently on sale.

Top off their winter outfit with this Adidas pom-pom beanie that’s a certified steal at 50 percent off.
