Cyber Monday is here. To find the best deals in every category, follow all of our Cyber Monday coverage.
My mission for Cyber Monday is to dig up the best toy deals for kids of all ages on everything from stocking stuffers to STEM toys to 2024’s hottest holiday gifts. This year’s deals have been exceptionally good with the largest discounts mostly at bigger retailers like Amazon, Walmart, and Target. But there are also a bunch of great sales happening on brand websites like LEGO, Disney, Super Smalls, and Clixo. Below, I’ve grouped everything by retailer with the details of each sale listed at the top of each section. Almost all the products I’ve included are at least 20 percent off, and many are items I’ve written about after testing them myself. I’ll keep updating this article as I find new deals, so check back often for the latest. If you’re also shopping for kitchen gear, clothes, skin care, or tech, check out our Cyber Monday hub. The deals I personally think are the best
I included Sarah’s Silks on my list of the expensive toys that are actually worth it, and the brand is having a blowout sale; I’d go for the mushroom hat and tutu set that’s currently 50 percent off. I’m also eyeing a 20-inch Squishmallow dragon for 46 percent off that would make a great tween gift. And because it’s 50 percent off and a perfect winter indoor toy for energetic younger kids, I recommend Avenlur’s Hazel Pikler triangle, ladder, and rocker set.
It can be tricky to shop Amazon’s Cyber Monday deals, between the glut of brands you’ve never heard of, the “limited time” and lightning deals that sometimes sell out really quickly, and the discounts that aren’t as big as they seem due to falsely inflated starting prices. But there are still many legit deals to be had — including Magna-Tiles for 33 percent off, a Monster High fashion doll for over 50 percent off, and a Melissa & Doug sandwich-counter play set for 42 percent off.
At over $100 a pop, American Girl dolls are a splurge. I think they’re generally worth the price because of the play value and quality, but right now, the brand is taking 30 percent off select dolls and accessories with code CYBER24. Highlights include several Disney Princess 18-inch dolls, like Ariel, Cinderella, and Tiana; a bundle of Isabel and Nicki, the brand’s twin dolls from the ’90s, plus their accessories; and Julie’s accessory pack, which features a leather bag, nameplate necklace, and mood ring.
If you’re in the market for active toys to help kids burn off energy indoors, Avenlur is a good option. The brand is offering up to 50 percent off its wooden jungle gyms that are durable and nice-looking.
Clixo is one of my favorite building toys because of the way you can bend the flexible magnetic pieces to make curved objects like a ball or a fish. We featured the newly released Clixo ocean creatures in our 2024 print gift guide, and now it’s 20 percent off, along with everything else on the brand’s site. Clixo is also running a spend-more, save-more deal: You’ll get 30 percent off your whole order you spend over $199, 40 percent off if you spend over $399.
On top of its Cyber Monday deals, Disney is taking up to an extra 30 percent off already reduced items and offering free shipping on all orders over $40 with the code CYBER. There’s something for every type of kid, whether you’re shopping for one who wears princess dresses on the daily, a Muppets superfan, or a more mischievous “Ursula is my one true hero” type.
Lalo’s stylish play kitchen is 25 percent off, and the brand is offering up to 40 percent off sitewide. (There are also good discounts on bath and mealtime essentials, including the high chair I used with my son that transforms into a play chair.)
In addition to the discounts on LEGO that I found at Amazon, Target, and Walmart, LEGO’s official site is offering up to 40 percent off on a bunch of gift-worthy sets.
There are good deals on Magna-Tiles scattered across Amazon, Target, and Walmart. But the brand’s own website is the best place to shop if you want to take your pick from the full range of sets and accessories. Everything on the site is 20 percent off, plus you’ll get free shipping on orders over $50.
Maisonette is taking up to 70 percent off, plus you’ll get an extra 10 percent off if you spend over $95, an extra 15 percent off if you spend over $300, and an extra 20 percent off if you spend over $600. This is a very good sale for expensive toys like bikes, dollhouses, and train sets.
Ooly makes some of my favorite art supplies, from unique markers to paint-by-number kits, and right now everything is 25 percent off.
Pottery Barn Kids is offering up to 70 percent off toys, baby gear, and playroom décor. The brand has a wide array of wooden and Montessori-style toys like the below music table, pretend cash register, and set of rainbow dollhouse people.
Radio Flyer has discounts up to 50 percent on select toys. The best deals include a classic steel-and-wood mini-wagon that comes with a cuddly teddy bear for $30, a toddler ride-on roadster for 40 percent off, and a 12-volt electric go-kart for bigger kids, also for 40 percent off.
Sarah’s Silks is discounting play silks, dress-up wings, capes, and holiday items like Advent calendars and silk Christmas stockings by up to 70 percent.
Super Smalls is taking 20 percent off everything for orders up to $149, 25 percent off orders over $150, and 30 percent off orders over $250.
Target has a variety of decently discounted LEGO sets, Hot Wheels tracks, National Geographic science kits, and big-ticket ride-on toys. You can also save big on stocking-stuffer-size toys and games from Spot It!, Bitzee, and Crayola.
Save 25 percent on everything from Tonies, including Toniebox bundles, Tonies, Advent calendars, and accessories.
At Walmart, Barbie’s Malibu house is 43 percent off, Super Mario: Odyssey for Nintendo Switch is 50 percent off, and a LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts castle is 39 percent off. There are also big discounts on smaller toys like Squishmallows, a Melissa & Doug vehicles puzzle, and a toddler-friendly Fisher-Price record player.
Yoto is giving shoppers up to 35 percent off its entire site, including players, card-and-player bundles, and all sorts of accessories like headphones and protective cases. For cards, the brand is offering a tiered discount: 10 percent off $35, 15 percent off $60, or 20 percent off $90.
