Editor’s note: Black Friday has officially started, so we’re no longer updating this post. For our most up-to-date coverage, check out our roundup of the best Black Friday tech deals and sign up for our email newsletter.
I used to associate Black Friday with waiting in line at Best Buy for deals on big-ticket items. But nowadays the sales begin much earlier and last much longer, on virtually every product you can think of. This year is no exception, especially in the tech category — there’s a huge variety of stuff on sale, from Apple AirPods Pro 2 at an all-time low price to my favorite fitness tracker for nearly 40 percent off.
I’ve been writing gift guides and covering holiday sales for more than six years, so I know a good deal when I see one. Below are my current favorite Black Friday deals on vacuums, headphones, video games, and other tech products, many of which we’ve reviewed before. I’ve organized everything by brand or retailer, and I’ll keep updating this article throughout Black Friday, so bookmark this page and check back often. And head to our main Black Friday sales hub for all the best deals we’ve spotted across all categories, from toys to beauty.
Update on November 28, 2024: Updated prices and checked stock for all products.
Deals I Personally Think Are the Best
These three deals are especially noteworthy: Dyson’s Digital Slim is one of our favorite vacuums, and we rarely see it for over half off. (It’s currently on sale for $240 on Amazon, but shipping might take up to a month or more. It’s on sale for $250 at Target, which is still an amazing deal.) The Apple AirPods 2 Pro are currently at an all-time low price. And the Fitibit Charge 6 is my top-pick fitness tracker, and it’s almost 40 percent off.
Amazon Early Black Friday Deals
Most of the early Black Friday deals I’ve found are available on Amazon, but highlights include the newest version of the Kindle Paperwhite e-reader, the Oura ring (a discreet fitness tracker), and the Strategist-favorite Loftie alarm clock.
Apple Early Black Friday Deals
The best part about shopping for deals on Apple products is finding discounts on the latest versions of each product. I’ve found a few so far, including the latest MacBook Air, the AirPods Pro 2 at an all-time low price, and the Apple Watch Series 10.
Bookman Early Black Friday Deals
Bookman might not be a household name just yet, but it should be. The Stockholm-based company primarily makes bike lights and wearable lights (its bike lights make great gifts for cyclists), and its offering discounts of up to 45 percent off as part of its Black Friday sale.
Dyson Early Black Friday Deals
Dyson’s stick vacuums and hair tools always have a high price tag, but its quality is hard to beat. In our guide to cordless vacuums, we included multiple Dyson models that are now on sale. The brand’s Airwrap has long been the gold standard for hair straighteners — and right now it’s $100 off.
Fitbit Early Black Friday Deals
When anyone asks me which fitness tracker they should get (if they don’t already have an Apple Watch), I recommend a Fitbit: It tracks the most basic health and fitness metrics, there aren’t any overly complicated bells and whistles, and it’s easy to set up. Start with the Inspire 3, and if you want more features, work up to the Charge 6 and Versa 4, respectively. All three models are now at least 30 percent off for Black Friday.
Nintendo Early Black Friday Deals
Nintendo has some seriously good Black Friday deals on these three popular games. If your niece or nephew doesn’t have them yet, now is the time to gift one (or all three) — just make sure they have a Nintendo Switch.
Sonos Early Black Friday Deals
I found some great deals on Sonos audio gear, including the Soundbar (one of our favorite home-theater components), the Era 100, and the Ace — the brand’s first pair of headphones.
Walmart Early Black Friday Deals
We found a handful of great tech deals at Walmart — including Beats headphones for $89, a 4K Roku TV for less than $200, and some steep discounts on Apple products, like the Apple Watch SE (2nd Gen), iPad (10th Gen), and Pencil (1st Gen). We also found great deals on video games and consoles — now’s a great time to get a PlayStation.
