There are few things more frustrating than coffee going cold. (Even if you have an insulated carafe and heat your frothed milk, the temperature will inevitably drop if you don’t gulp it down right away.) The Ember Temperature Control Smart Mug, which is currently on sale for more than 30 percent off, takes care of that problem. It heats the cup from a battery-operated disk on the bottom, so you can set it anywhere you’re enjoying your brew. The mug will keep your beverage at a default 155 degrees Fahrehnheit, or you can pick your exact preferred temperature by one-degree increments (and control this via an app). The mug automatically turns off when empty or after two hours of inactivity, and back on when it senses liquid. It’s usually a pretty expensive investment — though even at full-price, we’ve been recommending it for years. All the more now that it’s at its lowest price ever. (And it would make a great gift too.)

The Strategist is designed to surface useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Every product is independently selected by our team of editors, whom you can read about here. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
