You know how we’re simulating the 2011-12 Knicks season until this awful lockout ends? Well, the chances of this awful lockout ending anytime soon are now even slimmer than before: The NBA players’ union has rejected the league’s latest offer, and now plans to dissolve said union. The players are prepared to file an anti-trust lawsuit against the league. (Hoops fans might want to stop reading this post now, before we get to the quotes from Billy Hunter and David Stern. Really, we won’t mind. Go on and read about John Skelton or something.) Said Hunter: “We’ve arrived at the conclusion that the collective bargaining process has completely broken down.” And said Stern: “It looks like the 2011-12 season is really in jeopardy.” So yeah, get used to following the video-game Knicks, folks.
