My longstanding joke with a certain boy is that I want a plastic engagement ring. Last week, in Williamsburg, my dream came true—at least the plastic part did. This accessory from artist Alissia Melka-Teichroew isn’t perfect, especially since it can’t be adjusted for big or small fingers. Still, the bold, elegant spoof on a certain Tiffany item more than makes up for the fit. I strung three of these plastic delights through a silver chain to make a necklace. It’s a great way to wear them if you have small hands—or hands being saved for the real, platinum thing.
