Do you love finding new music before the radio does? Then show up to Annex this Thursday, when Young Love, a reckless group of model-cute musicians, invades the stage at Sarah Lewitinn, a.k.a. Ultragrrrl’s tragically hip party, Stolen Transmission, blasting infectious pop-rock across the Lower East Side. Though their CD won’t hit stores until this fall, you can sample their Village People meets Justin Timberlake sound for free. If the music alone doesn’t lure you, consider that this Thursday has a theme: it’s retro-prom night, so grab your vintage tux and get ready to party like it’s 1999. (Or, you know, whenever your last school dance was.)
11 P.M. at Annex, 152 Orchard St., between Rivington and Stanton Sts; 212-673-9058; free.
