My Favorite Daytime Moisturizer Is On Sale at Nordstrom’s Anniversary Event

Nordstrom’s Anniversary Event includes pages and pages of discounted products I’ve been coveting, as well as ones I already own and use on a regular basis. It’s basically a smorgasbord of good deals, and, as of today, the sale has officially opened up to the public — meaning now’s a great time to get your hands on cult-favorite products from Charlotte Tilbury, Dr. Barbara Sturm, Living Proof, and many more beloved brands for up to 50 percent off.

These products are the three that Charlotte Tilbury allegedly uses to prep celebrities’ skin for red carpets. The trio, Tilbury swears, is the key to that luminous, lit-from-within glow her clients always seem to have. Charlotte’s Magic Cream (one of my personal favorites) is a deeply hydrating and nourishing daytime moisturizer; the Magic Eye Cream helps replenish, smooth, and brighten under-eye areas; and the Crystal Elixir contains a blend of vitamin C and polyglutamic acid (both of which help hydrate and add radiance to skin).

For those who don’t like a creamy sunscreen, these super-refreshing, octinoxate-free sunscreen mists from Supergoop are SPF 50 and make it insanely easy to reapply SPF to your body after taking a dip or lying out for a few hours. The formula uses antioxidant-rich ingredients like vitamin C , acai extracts, and green tea to protect and heal dry, exposed-to-the-elements skin.

This set comes with three travel sizes of Sturm’s (also celebrity-beloved) serums: the Hyaluronic Acid serum (for moisturizing dry, dehydrated skin), the Night Serum (for regenerating and strengthening the skin while you sleep), and the Super Anti-Aging Serum (which helps replenish and calm inflammation). The stuff is extremely expensive, but if you’re curious about why stars like Bella Hadid, Kim Kardashian, and Elsa Hosk are fans, now might be a good time to get your hands on them for (slightly) less.

Beauty-editor-beloved hair-care brand Living Proof (whose products have received Best of Beauty seals of approval from Allure and endless praise from websites like Into the Gloss and Byrdie) is offering an excellent deal on a trio of its best sellers. For only $99, you can get jumbo sizes of its classic shampoo and conditioner and cult-favorite dry shampoo — a favorite of the Cut’s beauty director, Kathleen Hou, who says it “actually soaks up oil and dirt” thanks to a “a molecule called OFPMA, created by MIT scientists, that reduces the surface friction on hair and helps absorb oil without adding grit.”

As any hairstylist will tell you, silk pillows are a great investment for anyone with damaged, bleached, or brittle hair. Silk fibers are a lot less absorbent and also cause less friction than most pillows, so they ensure your locks aren’t being pulled and tugged on throughout the night and help hair retain moisture (as Slip puts it, they keep your products on your face and hair, not on your pillow). But silk pillowcases can get pricey due to the fabric being more expensive, which is why getting two of Slip’s ultrasoft, cozy, and reliable silk pillowcases — which count Jen Atkin and Victoria Beckham as fans — for $125 is a smart buy.

While this is not technically a beauty product, I’d be remiss if I didn’t flag this deal on a set of Malin + Goetz’s lovely candles (which break down to just $14 each). I think the trio is a wonderful way to treat yourself and make your at work-from-home experience a bit cozier. The set comes with three mini, ultrapotent candles: Dark Rum (which has notes of bergamot, plum, anise, leather, rum, vanilla, patchouli, amber, and milk), Cannabis (which smells of bergamot, black pepper, orange, cannabis accord, muguet, magnolia, cedarwood, patchouli, sandalwood, amber, and musk), and Leather (which is a blend of lotus flower, eucalyptus, clove, muguet, iris wood, orchid, green violet, leather, cedarwood, sandalwood, suede accord, and cashmere musk).

The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
