A Rare Sale-on-Sale at Huckberry

I’m a big fan of Huckberry’s curated collection of outdoorsy-but-still-city-appropriate gear. And I love it even better when it’s on sale — and right now the retailer is offering an extra 15 percent off already-discounted items at checkout. I did some digging and was pleasantly surprised to find some Strategist favorites in the mix, including some of our best waffle towels and winter gloves. Like most really good sales, sizing is limited on a lot of the apparel and shoes, so I tried to only include items that are well stocked and/or available in several colors. Everything I found below is at least 30 percent off, but a lot of items are half off. I don’t know when the double discount will end, but my guess is sometime this weekend, so don’t dillydally.

Most of the deals are on Flint and Tinder, which, to my knowledge, is basically Huckberry’s in-house brand. I like this comforter-esque quilted coat, which is over $100 off.

Relwen Windzip Jacket

From $159

Discounts vary by color on this packable jacket, but you won’t be paying more than $182 — a great deal on a good transitional-weather layer.

Wellen Windward Jacket
$64
$64

A simple wind-and-water-resistant jacket that would be a good layer over fleece until spring.

Always worth mentioning an extra-good deal on Alex Mill.

There’s pretty limited sizing on these, but for you lucky ones who wear sizes 9.5 through 13, this is a good deal on Merrell’s Moab collab with Corridor!

I rarely see this Strategist-favorite running-shoe brand go on sale for close to half off in actually wearable colors — and all sizes, too!

A nice-looking dad shoe that’s not from New Balance.

These Subu-like puffy slippers come in women’s sizes, too!

Extra ankle protection.

For any Deadheads in the audience.

Several pairs of Hestra’s investment-worthy leather gloves are over 30 percent off. Associate editor Jeremy Rellosa likes to think of the Wakayamas as his “nice” winter gloves: “My fingers have stayed warm in them on both 15-degree days and 40-degree days, and they have a removable wool liner (which feels like the interior of a fuzzy sock) and a paracord wrist adjustment to cinch them down tight.”

Some very inexpensive lambskin work gloves for early-spring gardening.

Onsen Bath Towel Set

Our best (less expensive) fast-drying bath towel — now just $34 each when you get a set of two.

Onsen Bath Bundle

And if you buy the six-piece set, which includes two washcloths, two hand towels, and two bath towels, it shakes out to $17.50 apiece.

I’ve had this Turkish towel since 2018. It’s great to sit on at the park or use as a tablecloth.

Brightech Swoop Floor Lamp

A really great deal on this Serge Mouille dupe.

These glasses depict iconic mountain ranges in their base — Alaska’s Denali and Yosemite’s Half Dome are still in stock. (Buy now and save for Father’s Day.)

Native Union makes some of our favorite nice-looking tech accessories (see its photographer-approved laptop sleeve and delightful retro phone headset). Turns out, Huckberry sells the brand, so now is a good time to grab this surprisingly handsome charging station that lets you power up your phone, Apple Watch, and AirPods all at once.

The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
