What Jennifer Aniston Can’t Live Without

If you’re like us, you’ve probably wondered what famous people add to their carts. Not the JAR brooch and Louis XV chair but the hair spray and the electric toothbrush. We asked Jennifer Aniston — who founded the hair-care brand LolaVie in 2021 — about the tortoiseshell glasses, facial toning device, and P-touch label-maker she can’t live without.

When did I get this (the bane of my existence) damn ring? I think I got it in 2021. It tracks my sleep, and I’ve gotten to the point where I don’t look at my sleep from the night before until the middle of the day, because I just feel like shit the minute I wake up. Because it’s like, “And you’ve failed upon arising, you’ve already sucked today!” And then it’s like, “Don’t feel bad, we can work on this!” But with my workouts, it’s great because it tracks them, and that just encourages you to keep going.

They don’t show, they don’t slip, they don’t like, disappear into your shoe, and then you have to take your shoe off and pull it back out. They’re perfect, yeah? No-show socks that slip … it’s like your panties before we discovered the G-string. These are the G-string of no-show socks.

I love a P-touch, I love a P-touch. I like to put dates on food. I like to know what’s in this drawer, where is that drawer, so you’re not on a witch hunt: “Remember which drawer that’s in?” So this is it for me. It helps me stay organized. And it’s a basic thing — I don’t try to get creative with it. I do like that it allows me to do different font sizes, though. That’s important.

Ziip has been my go-to, my travel companion. I do it every morning. There’s a seven-minute program — the programs don’t eat up a lot of time. So it’s very doable to add that into your morning routine. And again, this is when you see results. And my makeup artist — who’s been my makeup artist forever — she said, “Of all of the devices you’ve used, this is the one that I actually really see a difference, like, I really can see a difference.” If I’m working, I do use it every morning. And then sometimes, if I’m feeling extra tired, or if I feel a little puffy that day, I do the de-puffing program with the lymphatic-drainage program. And the woman who developed it, I’ve had her facials before, so she’s the one who really explained it to me. Even though everything she said was pretty much Greek to me (all of those words, nano, micro, nano, whatever it is). Just put it on your face. Follow the program, and it works.

Everything about these wipes. Everything, everything. They keep disappearing from my house because my friends always clean their glasses or clean their phone, and it ends up slipping into their pockets. So yes, they’re really great, and they don’t scratch your glasses, and they’re great for your screens.

For glasses, I always love an aviator shape, love my aviators. At the moment, I have a tortoiseshell frame, and then also I like a light aviator frame. I have so many different ones I kind of just pick up. I’ve had this particular pair for maybe two years. But I do shop around — if I could have had 20 things I can’t live without, I would have. Because I also love Warby Parker: They’re really affordable. And also, when you do the virtual try-ons, they actually really mean it. It’s not deceiving.

You’re gonna kill me, but I’m actually trying to remember which one that was … I pulled the brush out that I used, I can’t remember what the number was, so excuse me while I Google … oh, yes! It’s amazing. It’s just for everything. Application foundation, powders, all of it. It’s a real all-in-oner. That’s my makeup artist’s. I took that from her … and she knows where I live.

The glossing detangler I’m very, very partial to because it was our first baby. It was the product we really focused on the most at first, and it’s just been the most beloved, raved-about product in our line. It’s won so many awards. It’s not heavy; you can never put in too much. We called it the Swiss Army knife of hair products. It’s just all in one; you get to get as much done with one product as you possibly can. I’ve also heard from so many of my friends that bath time with their kids is now an enjoyable, wonderful experience because of this glossing detangler. Because I guess bath time for children with long, curly hair, or just any kids’ hair in general is tough. I forget that parents have to brush out their hair. So it’s just, it’s just a really great go-to product. It’s fantastic, and it means it.
