For this week’s Don’t Dillydally, we’ve rounded up a range of newly released products we’re particularly excited about, including Monopoly Dearfoams, Glossier’s Futuredew in solid form, and appetizer plates from White Lotus.
I’ve clocked aesthetician Sofie Pavitt’s cult-favorite skin-care line in many a beauty obsessive’s bathroom cabinet (that green cleanser and chartreuse serum are hard to miss). The line’s first-ever moisturizer is formulated for dry, breakout-prone skin with hydrating squalane, plus barrier-repairing omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids.
Something for the clogerati: a special-edition Croc made in collaboration with Happy Socks. The Crocs come with matching socks in “Cloudy” and “Flower Balloon” patterns, along with some especially silly Jibbitz (including a flaming hamburger).
For those who take their duties as bankers seriously, there’s Monopoly for Dearfoams. These machine-washable, memory-foam-lined slippers are available in women’s, men’s, and kids’ sizes. They feature the game’s boardwalk tiles (New York Avenue, Atlantic Avenue, Marvin Gardens) and playing pieces like the thimble and top hat.
Over the past couple of weeks, Hill House Home has launched a slew of new Nap Dresses, including one with bluebonnets, another in striped seersucker, and the broderie confection seen here (and the first from the brand, I believe, to include a rosette).
Glossier’s Futuredew — a highlighter for cheekbones, brow bones, and Cupid’s bows — now comes in solid form. The original oil-serum hybrid (which our columnist Rio Viera-Newton calls “glossier skin in a bottle”) could be your base under a concealer, while the travel-friendly stick is meant more for touch-ups.
It’s safe to say that a staycation is better than a week’s stay at a White Lotus. (My money’s on Walton Goggins’s mysterious Rick this time.) Fittingly, Mike White’s hotel and CB2 debuted a limited-edition collection to “escape to paradise — without ever leaving your home.” It’s seemingly inspired by the third season’s opening credits and includes brass-monkey sculptures, lotus-bloom candleholders, and sham sets featuring elephants with entwined trunks.
Megan Thee Stallion has now joined the ranks of celebrities with liquor companies. Hers is called Chicas Divertidas, which translates to “fun girls” in Spanish (on brand for the originator of Hot Girl Summer). The tequila line currently includes a blanco, with undertones of citrus, and a reposado, which smells of almonds, cinnamon, and coconut.
