If you clocked back into work this morning and realized that you forgot to shop all the Memorial Day sales, you’re in luck: More than half of the retailers who had sales over the weekend are still offering those discounts today, May 28, with most slated to end at midnight. That’s not entirely surprising. As someone who’s covered sales for over five years now, I’ve found it’s common for sales to be extended one more day following a sales event. However, the sales do typically end after the extension, so it truly is your last chance.
Below, I’ve rounded up the best Memorial Day deals that are still live today, organized alphabetically by retailer. Wherever possible, I noted when the sale is slated to end. While some of these brands will certainly have sales again in another few months, they probably won’t be quite as good until the holidays. Plus, some brands, like Parachute and Blundstone, likely won’t offer any discounts again until the holiday season. All to say: Shop now, while you can. And to ensure you don’t miss a single good sale in the future, sign up for our email newsletter for the latest news.
Amazon
Amazon’s Memorial Day sale is technically over, but I spotted several seasonally appropriate discounts still live, including the handheld fan that was a best seller with Strategist readers last summer and some well-priced Levi’s shorts.
Backcountry
For those who missed Backcountry’s Memorial Day sale, they have a “new” sale with up to 50 percent off select outdoor gear and apparel, but right now that includes everything that was on sale yesterday, including a Cotopaxi fanny pack and camping essentials.
Balsam Hill
Balsam Hill’s sale ends at 3 a.m. EST on May 29, so you can still buy a very discounted artificial Christmas tree or vibrant spring florals for up to 40 percent off, plus free shipping.
Ban.do
Maximalists will be delighted to learn that everything, including already-on-sale products, is 30 percent off with the code ENJOY30 through Wednesday night.
Blundstone
We rarely see Blundstone sales, but right now several of its Chelsea boots — including a low-cut version that would be great for spring — are 25 percent off as part of its Spring Sale, no code needed. (Managing editor Kelsie Schrader, who has repeatedly praised her Blundstones, says she already bought a pair for her mom for Christmas, because it’s never too early to start holiday shopping.) Note: There’s no stated end date for this sale.
Brooklinen
Everything at Brooklinen is 20 percent off through 3 a.m. EST on May 29. That’s a pretty typical discount for the brand, but it’s still a good time to get our best-in-class sheets or robe from the brand. (I’m most excited to see that the discount is applicable to the brand’s adorable Sesame Street collaboration.)
Buffy
Buffy is having a pretty typical sale: Everything is 20 percent off through June 9. The cool-to-the-touch Breeze comforter won’t suffocate you during hot summer nights, according to former Strategist writer Lori Keong. And the Cloud pillow is featured in two of our pillow guides for being both cooling and great for neck pain.
Burrow
Through June 2, Burrow is offering up to 60 percent off sitewide. Most discounts hover around 20 to 30 percent off, but it’s still a good time to get a new couch. When we tested a bunch of flat-pack sofas, we called Burrow’s Nomad the “designiest” option (which earned bonus points for its “incredible ease of assembly”), and it rarely goes this on sale.
The Citizenry
The Citizenry almost never has sales, but right now it’s offering 20 percent off sitewide through May 29. If you’re not sure where to start, go with bedding: the stonewashed French flax linen sheets are one of our favorites. They’re especially good if you’re a hot sleeper, according to Strategist associate editor Jenna Milliner-Waddell, who says that they’re the coolest sheets she’s ever slept on.
The Company Store
The Company Store extended its sale through 3 a.m. ET tonight. Everything is at least 30 percent off everything (and select items are up to 40 percent off) with the code MDW24, including our best-overall down comforter.
Dermstore
All our favorite skin-care staples are 20 percent off through May 31 with the code SUN. Some highlights include EltaMD’s ever-popular sunscreen as well as our best overall anti-aging serum and eye cream.
Ettitude
If you’re a sweaty sleeper, Ettitude’s bamboo bedding is your best bet. Everything is 30 percent off, including their best-in-class cooling bamboo sheets and bamboo lyocell duvet cover — both approved picks by home décor writer Lauren Ro. (Note: The discount will show up once you’ve added products to your cart.) There’s no stated end date for this sale, either.
Goodee
Goodee — the curated marketplace showcasing ethically made décor from POC artisans around the world — is still running its anniversary sale, where more than 100 products are up to 65 percent off. Though this is technically not a Memorial Day sale, the discounts are too good not to include here.
Hanna Andersson
Beloved kidswear brand Hanna Andersson is still offering up to 50 percent off everything through June 3, which is about as good a deal as you’ll get. Tons of new summer prints and patterns just hit the site, too!
J.Crew
J.Crew’s sale looks a little confusing at first — some styles are up to 60 percent off, no code needed; some already-on-sale styles are an additional 50 to 60 percent off with the code SUMMER. But the deals are well worth it — and they all end at midnight tonight. I recommend hitting the swimsuit section or snapping up one of our favorite lightweight tees.
Made In
Of all the DTC cookware brands, Made In is one of our favorites. It has one of our favorite skillets, knife sets, (less expensive) Dutch ovens, and so many other reliable kitchen tools. Many of those favorites — plus some grilling-specific tools that would make great Father’s Day gifts — are up to 25 percent off. Made In hasn’t posted an end date for this sale.
Madewell
For all your summer wardrobe needs, head to Madewell. The retailer is offering 25 percent off essentials like shorts, tanks, and dresses with the code LONGWEEKEND through May 28. Already-discounted items are an extra 25 percent off too.
Mattresses
There are still tons of mattress deals going on. And since there are so many to sift through, our sleep writer, Amelia Jerden, rounded up the best of the best here.
Net-a-Porter
If you’re feeling fancy, Net-a-Porter is still offering up to 50 percent off select items. There are plenty of lovely designer pieces to be found, but don’t snooze on the beauty section, where I found lots of Pat McGrath on sale.
Nike
Officially, it’s called the Summer Sale, but through May 28, Nike will offer members (it’s free to become one) an extra 25 percent off select styles, some of which are already discounted, with code SUMMER25.
Nordstrom
Nordstrom’s Half-Yearly Sale usually goes live right around Memorial Day, and this year is no different. Since there are so many deals to be found, I’ve put together all my top picks from the sale here. The sale ends Sunday, June 2, at midnight PT.
Open Spaces
For stylish storage solutions, there’s no better option than Open Spaces. Take 25 percent off sitewide through May 29 with our exclusive code STRAT, which will get you some even better deals than the brand is currently running.
Outdoor Voices
You’ll definitely need to search by size, but if you don’t mind a bit of digging, the discounts are still really good in Outdoor Voices’ OV Extra section.
Parachute
Parachute has extended its Memorial Day sale through Wednesday night, and you can get all of our most stood-behind staples for 25 percent off. There’s no better time to score earth-toned linens, gauzy bathrobes, and more for a more budget-friendly price.
Sijo
Sijo’s sale doesn’t have a set end date, either, but everything is still 20 percent off, no code needed. The cooling eucalyptus sheets are “so smooth and slippery,” according to former Strategist senior editor Chelsea Peng, who says she can barely feel the difference in texture between her silk pillowcase and these sheets.
Solo Stove
The maker of our best fire pit, Solo Stove, is taking up to 30 percent off its entire site through Thursday, May 30. The Bonfire model earned our top spot, but the mini Cinder or Mesa stoves would be nice for not-so-big backyards (or a shared rooftop).
Sundays
Sundays, the newish Canadian DTC-furniture brand, is offering up to 25 percent off select items through 4 a.m. EST tomorrow, May 29. Though not the most discounted items in the bunch, I did spot a Japandi-esque coffee table from our best-in-class guide and a sofa from one writer’s search to find the perfect deep couch.
Supergoop
It’s officially time to up your SPF, and luckily, Supergoop extended its sitewide 20 percent off sale through 11:59 p.m. EST today, May 28. The Unseen sunscreen is a classic, but we also like the brand’s skin-care-as-SPF products. Select products are 50 percent off at checkout, including the untinted lip balm I’ve had my eye on.
Target
There are still a ton of great deals on patio furniture, gardening supplies, and outdoor kids’ toys at Target.
Tatcha
Tatcha rarely has sales outside the holiday season, and we’ve got early access to its sitewide sale. Use the code NYMAG24 to take 20 percent off everything through June 2. I’ve included some Strategist best sellers below, but you can find our beauty writer Tembe Denton-Hurst’s top picks from the Tatcha Memorial Day sale here.
Tushy
Tushy makes several of our favorite bidets, all of which still seem to be up to 40 percent off.
West Elm
Truly thousands of furnishings and home-décor items are up to 60 percent off at West Elm, and everything in the clearance bin is an additional 20 percent off with the code EXTRA20. The sale ends tonight.
