October Prime Day is here. To find the best deals in every category, follow all of our October Prime Day coverage

October Prime Day is coming to a close, so if you’ve been window shopping, now’s the time to head to the checkout. All the deals end tonight at 2:59 a.m. ET, and there are still plenty of excellent options to choose from. This page is your one-stop shop for all our favorite deals, but if you’d like an even more curated list, I’ve rounded up my top October Prime Day picks here.

Yesterday, I found dozens of best sellers from July’s Prime Day back on sale, including Laneige’s cult-y lip balm and lip mask, Levi’s jeans for over half off, and a Barbie Dreamhouse, to name just a few standouts. We also saw some Strategist-approved products at their lowest prices ever, including Apple’s AirPods Pro — I bought a pair — and Bissell’s portable carpet cleaner. And unlike July’s Prime Day, I found lots of delightful products for both Halloween and Christmas.

To make shopping easy, I’ve broken down my finds into 16 categories below. If you’d like to go more in depth in a particular category, I’ve linked to my fellow writers’ roundups (where applicable), like Tembe Denton-Hurst’s top October Prime Day beauty deals and Arielle Avila’s favorite household essentials on sale.

If you’re shopping on a budget, we’ve collected delightful October Prime Day finds under $50. And since this sale is a kickoff to the holiday-shopping season, we’ve pulled out the best deals that would make excellent holiday gifts. If you want to shop only Strategist-tested products, we even have a roundup of everything on sale that we’ve written about.

Again, the sale ends tonight, so don’t dillydally if you see something you like. And be sure to sign up for our newsletter to keep up with all our Prime Day coverage.

The Deals I Personally Think Are the Best

Laneige’s lip balm goes on sale every Prime Day, but this time around, it’s even cheaper than usual. It would make a nice little extra gift this holiday season! I also noticed that Bissell’s best-in-class carpet cleaner is at an all-time low of $82. (I’ve never seen it for under $88.) And just like July’s Prime Day, my noise-canceling headphones are once again less than $200 — even more colors are on sale this time, but black is still $30 more.

Best October Prime Day Women’s Fashion Deals

It’s not a Prime Day sale without plenty of Levi’s denim. I found our best overall women’s jeans (a pair of slightly cropped Levi’s Wedgies) and our best overall high-waisted jeans (the Ribcage ankle, which I buy every Prime Day). The rest of the good deals I spotted are from the basics department, including underwear and comfy walking shoes. For more, see writer Ambar Pardilla’s October Prime Day fashion-deals roundup. And if you’re in the mood for even more shopping, writer Lauren Ro rounded up her favorites from Shopbop’s coinciding Prime Day sale.

Gap Poplin Big Shirt
$38
$38

Says Ambar, “The Big Shirt is one of my most-worn button-downs. It’s as marked down now as it would be during a great Gap sale.” But don’t delay — it’s already sold out in a few colors.

L’eggs tights (as seen in your local drugstore) for less than $5.

And here’s a little shirt from Madewell for a veritable steal at just $13.

From $104

Docs take the title of “best overall” in both our women’s ankle-boots and Chelsea-boots roundups, owing to their quality and timeless style. For Prime Day, this punky-looking pair is $70 off, which is a decent deal for Docs.

Best October Prime Day Men’s Fashion Deals

As with the women’s section above, now is a good time to stock up on wardrobe staples like Levi’s jeans, Hanes sweatpants, and underwear from Calvin Klein and Fruit of the Loom. For more, see writer Ambar Pardilla’s October Prime Day fashion-deals roundup.

I repeat: likely the best deal you’ll find on Levi’s jeans all year.

Cole Haan Pinch Penny Slip-on Loafer
From $89
From $89

Nice-looking loafers from a reputable brand for the man who needs a pair (or needs to replace a pair).

The best affordable briefs you can get from one of the most famous names in the underwear business.

Best October Prime Day Skin-Care Deals

As usual, there are so many October Prime Day beauty deals that I’ve broken them out into three categories: skin care, hair care, and makeup. Of those three, you’ll find the most deals on skin-care products from both drugstore and “premium” brands. Plenty of reader best sellers are back on sale this year, including CosRX’s snail-mucin essence and Laneige’s lip mask and balm. For more, see beauty writer Tembe Denton-Hurst’s October Prime Day beauty-deals roundup.

Laneige’s lip balm (which I love) is the best price it has ever been for Prime Day. Get multiples to give as little gifts this Christmas.

The matching lip mask is a good idea, too.

The only time you should be buying this cult-favorite micellar water is during Prime Day — it’s always at its cheapest.

Our best overall body oil rarely goes on sale, so now’s a good time to stock up on this cold-weather dry-skin hit.

During July’s Prime Day sale, our reader-favorite snail-mucin essence was only $10 — the cheapest we’d ever seen it. The deal is back for October Prime Day, and it’s probably the cheapest it will be for the rest of the year.

Naturium’s skin care doesn’t go on sale very often, so now’s a good time to try out its Strategist-approved treatments for 20 percent off. If you’re new to the brand, start with this acne-busting serum from the Strategist Beauty 100.

Best October Prime Day Hair-Care Deals

A lot of the brands I look forward to seeing on sale for Prime Day are offering good deals again. Malin+Goetz, which is rather pricey normally, is offering 20 percent off all of its products, and several of our favorite dry shampoos are on sale. For more, see beauty writer Tembe Denton-Hurst’s October Prime Day beauty-deals roundup.

There are a lot of shampoos to choose from on October Prime Day, but you really can’t go wrong with our best overall shampoo, from Malin+Goetz. (It rarely goes on sale.)

At 50 percent off, this is an unbeatable price on our best overall blow-dryer brush.

And here’s a value-size bottle of our best overall conditioner to match.

I’m probably going to buy this Drybar detangler that one Strategist writer says gives her Sabrina Carpenter bangs.

Best October Prime Day Makeup & Perfume Deals

The makeup section is a bit less robust than the two beauty categories above, at least so far, but you’ll definitely find some good deals if you dig around. I found plenty of BB and CC creams, a color-correcting Dr. Jart dupe from Hero Cosmetics, and a smattering of nail and perfume products. For more, see beauty writer Tembe Denton-Hurst’s October Prime Day beauty-deals roundup.

$10

I deeply regret not repurchasing my favorite BB cream during July’s Prime Day, so I promised myself I’d get it this time. Luckily, it’s just $8 again.

$18

This eyebrow pencil is one of our beauty writer’s reliable go-tos because it’s easy to use, it’s pigmented but still very natural, and it lasts a long time even with daily use. It’s 40 percent off, which is basically the best deal you’ll find on it (outside of the very infrequent half-off sales at Sephora).

I can’t remember the last time I saw any Clinique makeup for 50 percent off. This is a nice lightweight layer, and it has SPF, too, which is easy to forget once the weather cools off.

Best October Prime Day Toy Deals

As October Prime Day is all about holiday gifting, there are a ton of toys on sale for all ages. The Toniebox is a great gift for the kid who loves to read — contributor Steven John said his kids prefer it to watching movies. There are plenty of LEGO sets and coloring books on sale, too, and for the kid who enjoys tactile play: kinetic sand. For more, see senior writer Liza Corsillo’s October Prime Day toy deals roundup.

Rarely can you go wrong with Legos — especially on Prime Day, which is the best time to buy them, Liza says.

$225

Two Strategist writers think this Barbie Dreamhouse is one of the best deals of the entire sale.

If you’d like to buy your kid an advent calendar that’s not just toys or candy, Liza suggests this science-focused one from National Geographic.

Corsillo often recommends toys from Magic Mixies in her gift guides for kids of every age. One of the best deals she found from the brand is on this mini mermaid doll that would make a great stocking stuffer for kids.

This is a really good deal on a Toniebox starter set, which comes with four extra characters from the Spider-Verse.

If your little one prefers open-ended play, this is a solid discount on one of our favorite STEM toys.

Liza has heard from many a parent that walkie-talkies are an easy way to curb screen time and get kids outdoors. This set, featured in our guide to the best gifts for 5-year-olds, is 30 percent off today.

Best October Prime Day Health & Wellness Deals

Our readers love to stock up on dental-hygiene products every Prime Day, and I can’t blame them. Teeth-whitening strips, electric toothbrushes, and water flossers from our best-in-class roundups are the cheapest they’ll be all year. I also encourage you to take a peek at things for your medicine (or kitchen) cabinet: Ritual’s multivitamins are excellent, and plenty of our favorite electrolyte powders are on sale.

Our best overall protein powder rarely goes on sale, so I wouldn’t dillydally on this deal.

You should never pay full price for an electric toothbrush because they always go on sale — but 44 percent off is an especially good deal.

Every Prime Day, these best-in-class teeth-whitening strips go on sale for 35 percent off, and every Prime Day, they’re a reader best seller. Stock up now before red-wine season begins.

Our best overall toothpaste is 20 percent off for a four-pack — not a huge discount, I know, but why not save on something you already need?

Best October Prime Day Home Deals

The home section is hit or miss — not a lot of good furniture and décor deals but a decent amount of appliances and accents. It’s a good time to grab an air purifier, a bidet, or even some fancy candles.

Our best overall air purifier was already a good deal at $155 earlier today — and then it dropped another $15, to $140. If you’ve been debating buying one, now’s the time.

This isn’t a very fun purchase, but my plug-in bug zapper that eliminates all fruit flies is on sale.

Yamazaki’s sleek home décor doesn’t go on sale very often, and when it does, the discounts are fairly low. Twenty-seven percent off is a good deal for this Strat-favorite clothing ladder!

This is a solid deal on a highly giftable Aura digital photo frame. (Senior editor Jen Trolio has given this frame as a gift no fewer than eight times.)

Best October Prime Day Household Essential Deals

Last October Prime Day, we noticed some of the best deals were actually on the unsexy stuff, like hand soap, trash bags, and toilet paper — all the things you need to buy but don’t want to pay full price for. It also ended up being the most popular category with our readers. I’m here to tell you that, yes, the deals are very good again this year and, yes, they’re worth stocking up on. For more, see writer Arielle Avila’s October Prime Day household-essential-deals roundup.

Another worthy stock-up-and-save.

You can always count on a few seasonal scents from Mrs. Meyer’s to be on sale for Prime Day. (They rarely, if ever, go on sale the rest of the year.) I’ll be picking this one up for my kitchen.

And I always have a jug of hand-soap refill on hand for my bathroom — mine’s almost out, so I’m considering this lemon-verbena scent.

$32 for 5

Sorry to say it, but you may need these later this year.

Best October Prime Day Kitchen Deals

I always recommend buying big-ticket items during October Prime Day, and that holds true this time. Both blenders and KitchenAid stand mixers are marked down to some of the best prices I’ve seen all year. If you’re not in the market for a big appliance, check out the pantry section. There are lots of great (and giftable) things on sale like fancy olive oils and Ghia’s nonalcoholic spritzes.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen the 14-ounce version of Ember’s temperature-regulating mug for this cheap.

This is the best Vitamix deal you can get this Prime Day. I’m surprised to see it still in stock on the second day of the sale, and I’d guess it won’t stay in stock for much longer, so don’t dillydally.

$90

If your kitchen (or wallet) doesn’t have space for a Vitamix, Nutribullet’s personal blender is over 40 percent off — the best deal I’ve seen on it. Managing editor Kelsie Schrader has used hers hundreds of times since she bought it a year and a half ago and it still runs (and looks) like new.

Joyce Chen Kitchen Scissors
$20
$20

These delightful little kitchen scissors were a best seller during July’s Prime Day, and they’re back on sale for the same price.

Spode Blue Italian Dinner Plates
$89 for 4
$89 for 4

A very good deal (nearly half off!) on some of our favorite dinner plates.

Best October Prime Day Sleep Deals

There’s no shortage of bedding on sale during October Prime Day, so I pulled a few Strategist-approved picks below from the deluge of options. If your pillows need upgrading, I found several on sale, all of which have been vetted by our sleep writer, including the Purple pillow we recommend for neck pain.

From $199

Sleep writer Amelia Jerden says Purple’s Harmony pillow is pricey but well worth it. Purple rarely discounts its products these days, so I’d buy it quickly.

From $55

And this is the best price I’ve seen on a Casper pillow in a while.

Best October Vacuum & Cleaning Deals

We always see dozens of vacuums on sale during Prime Day from our favorite brands, including Bissell, Dyson, and Shark, along with mops and stain removers. For more, see home writer Erin Schwartz’s October Prime Day vacuum-deals roundup.

Bissell’s carpet cleaner goes on sale year-round, but the best discounts are always during Prime Day and Black Friday. Right now, it’s at all-time low of $82.

I update our roundup on the best vacuum sales every month, and this is the cheapest I’ve seen this handheld vacuum in a very long time.

Dyson V8 Plus
$390
$390

This is one of the best times to buy a Dyson. I haven’t seen this model this on sale in a while.

As usual, there are a lot of robot vacuums on sale, so if you’re not sure where to go, just get our best overall pick.

Miele’s pet-hair-busting vacuum is 30 percent off — not a bad deal for the brand. I have a similar version I love that has lasted years.

Best October Prime Day Tech Deals

It should come as no surprise that the best tech deals are on Amazon’s own products. There are Kindles and Echos galore, but I also found the $13 smart plug that was a best seller in July on sale again. Apple products are 20 percent off (or more!) too.

The noise-canceling headphones I’ve had for years went on sale for under $200 for the first time back in July — but only in white, forest green, or baby blue. This time, they’re also only $199 in lavender, sandstone, and denim blue (pictured here).

Apple AirPods Max
$399
$399

It’s always best to wait for Prime Day or Black Friday to nab some new Apple products. I don’t think these will get cheaper come Black Friday, so best to buy them now.

Apple AirPods Pro 2
$190
$190

If you prefer earbuds, the AirPods Pro are the cheapest they ever get.

Best October Prime Day Travel Deals

Travel gear and gadgets is another category that features some great holiday gifts. I spotted some products from the Strategist Travel 100 on sale, including Cadence’s airport-approved skin-care containers and several Anker portable chargers.

This is a really good deal on TravelPro’s soft-sided carry-on suitcase, according to travel writer Katherine Gillespie. It’s “an excellent choice for overpackers, as well as anyone who wants their luggage to last — this is a highly durable design that’s used by flight attendants and pilots for a reason,” she writes.

An even cheaper option (which we do actually like) that gets the job done.

I don’t usually see this Strategist-approved convertible car seat for over 25 percent off, so now’s a good time to go for it.

Cadence makes some of our favorite toiletry “bottles”, and not just because they are some of the most stylish ones you’ll find. The modular containers are magnetic, so they can cling together and ultimately take up less space in your toiletry bag. They’re on the expensive end for travel containers, which is why now is a great time to get a set.

Best October Prime Day Christmas Deals

In addition to all the gift-worthy things on sale for October Prime Day, a few of our favorite artificial Christmas trees are deeply discounted, as are some great Advent calendars and cookie-decorating kits. Also: The entire Peanuts Holiday Collection is over half off, which is very important!

One of our favorite traditional-looking artificial Christmas trees is a steal at more than half off right now.

Best October Prime Day Halloween Deals

All of these Halloween deals will arrive (well) before the holiday thanks to Amazon’s two-day shipping. There’s plenty of stuff for DIY costumes as well as lots of discounted candy. I’m particularly enamored with the bulk pack of googly eyes.

We featured these silk butterfly wings from parent-recommended Sarah’s Silks in our guide to the best dress-up clothing for kids. Now’s the time to get them while they’re way cheaper than usual.

If you haven’t gotten Halloween candy yet, several bags (that will hopefully last the whole night) are under $10.

The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
