A Huge List of Sales: $35 Cords and $15 Bras

I’ve spent a lot of time this week digging up warm things on sale, from puffer coats to plush scarves, so I was delighted to see Patagonia’s winter sale go live yesterday. Normally, only a few color swatches are on sale, but it seems like more options are available this year. Senior writer Liza Corsillo did a deep dive for the best of the best from Patagonia, but I’ve included a few well-discounted coats you need to see below, as well as plenty of warm picks from other brands. (My advice: Start at Everlane if you’re looking for super-deep discounts.)

However, if you don’t mind shopping offseason, this time of year is when you’ll find some of the best deals on summery products. This weekend, Shopbop is having a sale-on-sale, with clearance items an extra 25 percent off. This is one of the site’s truly good sales and pretty much the only time I actually buy anything from it. This year, I’m eyeing a lightweight Donni top and several Reformation dresses.

$152 for 2

One of our best inexpensive (and powerful) air purifiers is on sale for $76 apiece.

CosRX Snail Mucin Sheet Mask
$15 for 10
$15 for 10

The face-mask version of CosRX’s beloved snail-mucin serum would actually make a good Valentine’s Day gift.

At Shopbop, all sale items are an additional 25 percent off this weekend with the code EXTRA25. Strategist writer Dominique Pariso says that this vitamin-C serum “leaves a velvety finish” and brightens her under-eye area even better than the cult-favorite Ole Henriksen Banana Bright cream.

I’ve been really wanting to try the hair-care products from clean-beauty brand Bathing Culture for a while now; I just might now that they’re 20 percent off!

$11

Very big discount for Tower 28: Its tinted lip balm, which comes in four juicy shades, is 30 percent off.

Eye-shadow sticks were the topic of this week’s Beauty Brief newsletter. (If you’re not a subscriber, first, sign up, and then keep an eye out for a recap next week.) Spoiler alert: Our beauty writer loves Bobbi Brown’s, and the five limited-edition holiday shades are all on sale at Nordstrom.

Another sale-on-sale that I think is actually worth your time: Urban Outfitters is offering an extra 40 percent off its sale section. (The discount will show up once you add items to your cart.) If her apartment lacks natural light, get her this makeup mirror that’s only $8 for Valentine’s Day.

The best time of year to get on-sale Patagonia is during the brand’s semiannual sales (they usually happen two or three times per year). Since its Winter Sale just went live yesterday, there’s still plenty of nice sweaters, coats, and bags in stock, including this retro-inspired hooded puffer.

A parka that won’t swish (and comes in black, a rare occurrence during Patagonia sales).

A perfectly striped sweater (that comes in extra-large through 3XL) is nearly 80 percent off.

The hero feature of this all-cotton tee from Donni is the teeny bow at the neckline.

Lots of Reformation dresses are deeply discounted. Here’s a very nice date-night dress for $60.

These cute Everlane corduroys (that managing editor Kelsie Schrader has been eyeing since they were on sale at $71) are now only $35.

This mid-rise pair is just $3 more.

Outdoor Voices Venus Crop Top
From $15
From $15

Sale-on-sale No. 3: Everything in Outdoor Voices’ clearance section is an extra 50 percent off at checkout. Branch out from basic black with this crop top that’s just $15 when you buy it in royal or powder blue.

Writer Lauren Ro pointed out that Limited Too is (1) having a revival at Kohl’s, and that (2) basically all of it is on sale. You can’t go wrong with this lettuce-hem tee.

The varsity-esque pullover is also typical early-aughts Limited Too.

Something a little warmer: this fun and fuzzy quarter-zip plastered with smiley face icons, hearts, and flowers. (It comes in lavender too!)

The pinnacle of Y2K fashion is, of course, the velour zip-up. (The matching pants are, unfortunately, only in stock in size large.)

Vans Kids Mary Jane Shoe
From $18
From $18

The final sale-on-sale I spotted: Clearance styles are an extra 40 percent off at Vans this weekend. The cheapest pair is this all-white version, but other colors like gold glitter and purple-and-teal color-block are just a few dollars more.

I think you could get away with wearing these fire-engine-red Merrells even if you aren’t a Game of Thrones fan. Half off is an extremely rare deal for Moabs!

Lunya Washable-Silk Sleep Mask
From $35
From $35

Kathryn Hahn’s sleep mask of choice is on sale in this of-the-moment cherry-red shade.

From $63

The weighted version, which has glass beads built in along the eye area, is on sale in black and navy blue. The brand suggests popping it in the freezer for some “depuffing magic.”

From $71

This adjustable-loft pillow is especially good for side sleepers.

$22

A nice little baby mobile I rustled up from the depths of West Elm’s sale section is over half off.

$17

While this sound machine isn’t specifically designed for babies, it is our top pick to soothe your little one continuously throughout the night. There are six sounds: white noise, thunder, ocean, rain, summer night, and brook.

One more baby thing: Liza also found this incredibly adorable hat on sale at Patagonia.

$30

I’ve been on the hunt for a not-too-expensive label maker to zhuzh up my desk area. I think I’ll go with this on-sale one from Brother, which is nearly identical to our best overall pick and was recommended to us by writer Rachel Khong.

$250

I certainly didn’t expect to see this Dyson on sale for half off again after Black Friday, but here it is — probably not for much longer, so don’t dillydally.

$350

If you’re willing to fork over another $100, one of our favorite cordless vacuums is also on sale. It’s a bit heavier than the Dyson, above, but has great suction power. The body can also hinge, so you don’t have to squat or bend to get to hard-to-reach spots.
