Waiting for the L Train Is Now a Little Bit Less Futile

“Ladies and Gentlemen: The L train is back. Enjoy your trip home tonight,” MTA chief Joe Lhota announced on Twitter today, after more than a week of Hurricane Sandy flood-recovery. “It’s back. Limited but back,” he cautioned, though the lines will run its full route from 8th Avenue to Rockaway Parkway. Why not transfer to the G later, just for old times’ sake?
