Ann Romney and Karen Santorum have both stepped out this week to talk about women’s issues in light of recent contraception controversy. Tonight, the actual First Lady appeared on David Letterman to chuckle about Congress instead of condoms. Letterman asked if the commander-in-chief ever comes home and complains about John Boehner.

He is always upbeat, particularly about Congress,” she answered. Zing!

Letterman and Michelle also discussed her childhood, and she got choked up talking about her father. “This isn’t Oprah!” she said. “What’s up? Where are the laughs?”
