New York Times Magazine editor Hugo Lindgren revamped the weekly supplement in 2011, pushing out columnists like Deborah Solomon of “Questions For” and “The Ethicist” Randy Cohen, but keeping their sections. Cohen, who gave advice for more than a decade and left unwillingly, was replaced by Ariel Kaminer, who is now calling it quits after just about a year, Capital New York reports. She’ll return to the “Metro” section, while guest ethicists will fill in until a thoughtful, stand-up replacement is named. Newt Gingrich needs something to do, right?
