Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley is a good friend to the gun lobby, but from the almost lyrical sound of his latest tweet, he and his car are now giving Smith & Wesson a run for its money in the deer-elimination field: “Fred and I hit a deer on hiway [sic] 136 south of Dyersville. After I pulled fender rubbing on tire we continued to farm. Assume deer dead.” For what it’s worth, they’re in season.
