There is almost no reason for anyone to know the name of Hearst’s president of entertainment and syndication, but he’s a “Page Six” star today: Scott Sassa, a top exec at the publishing giant, was reportedly pushed out after the boyfriend of an L.A. stripper Sassa had been sexting with forwarded the messages to all of his bosses, including CEO Frank Bennack Jr. and magazines president David Carey, following a failed extortion plot. (Sounds like a juicy Esquire story!) “She was texting him sexy pictures, and he was responding using words you absolutely would not want your bosses to see,” said a source. “He was also communicating with many other girls in New York, and wrote crazy things to them,” presumably during work hours and/or on a company phone, otherwise a lot of professional men are about to be in big trouble.
