Li Hangbin, the Chinese immigrant convicted of manslaughter for shaking his 2-month-old daughter Annie to death, received a sentence of 5 to 15 years in prison on Monday, and he already knows what he’s going to do when he gets out. “Mr. Li called Annie an angel and said through an interpreter that when he left prison he would recover Annie’s remains, now buried in a wooden box in a mass grave on Hart Island in the Bronx, ‘because I want her to rest at ease.’”
