More Washington, D.C. insanity: A man was flown to the hospital by helicopter from the National Mall following what may have been a case of self-immolation. Witnesses told NBC Washington “they saw a man pouring gasoline on himself, then possibly setting himself on fire.”
“A runner and passerby put the flames out,” Vanessa Sink, who took the above photo, tweeted. “It was incredible.”
