Whether you’re buying for yourself or for someone else, we’d wager that few people would turn down a cashmere sweater. The material is soft and cozy and warm and luxurious — which is usually the reason we don’t buy them with abandon, because that luxury often comes at a price. But as winter winds down and winter sales heat up, now is the time to look for the (fancy) wardrobe staple, which you can still get some wear out of before breaking it out again next fall. Over at Uniqlo, some of our favorite (already affordable) cashmere sweaters — which Chris Black has called “an absolute must” — are on sale in a bunch of colors and styles, including this V-neck for women in a chocolaty brown for just $50. For the same price, the sweater is also available in an elegant off-white, a jaunty periwinkle, and a vibrant purple (to name a few other colors), but some sizes are already selling out in certain shades, likely due to how good the deal is.
